Learning to decipher ambiguity: Recap of my APICS Supply Chain STEM outreach volunteering session

For those of you who are young professionals in Supply Chain domain, one of the biggest challenge that you will face by the time you get into executive leadership positions will be finding the right supply chain talent for the supply chain of the future. The talent shortage that we are currently looking at will keep on growing in magnitude unless we take some concrete steps to deal with the shortage.

With the help and support of volunteers like you, we can overcome the future supply chain talent shortage through the Supply Chain STEM Educational Outreach Program designed by APICS.  This program is designed for K-12 students to demonstrate the importance of supply chain management and the promising career paths available to them. The video below is a recap of my first such session at Acton Boxboro High School. I created this video to submit to APICS to get credits for my APICS fellowship application but the reason I am sharing this here is because this video discusses my perspective on what is the most important skill that you need to become a problem solver in the digital age.
