The “Chain” approach of designing AI Solutions : A Retail assortment Planning example

The drawing below is an illustration of how a true AI platform should help you connect dots in your end to end planning- using assortment planning as an example.

While it does not show the exact components of the AI platform, once you form the upper view portion/flow of the process planning (like the assortment planning in this case), you should be able to design what exactly should be functionalities and architecture of your AI platform.

A simple yet effective approach to design AI platforms that align with organizational objectives as well.
